This multi-talented model has been a delight to correspond with... so you'll know that there is an interesting & charming person behind the gorgeous exterior!
1) The usual first question for these things: where does your interest for all matters fetish comes from?
I’ve always been a proud, card-carrying freak! My interest started early in rock/heavy metal music and that developed my passion for latex, corsets, leather, PVC, fishnet tights and high heels. It felt natural and I loved it. I owned my first latex when I was 13. I guess I’ve always had the interest in fetish in me, and I’ve loved exploring my fetishes. (No I’m not telling you which ones!) Everyone has a fetish whether they know it or admit it to themselves, I’m lucky enough to explore mine in front of the camera - and people are always welcome to watch!
2) Let’s forward ten years from now: do you see yourself completely covered in tattoos at that time or is your contribution to that art on yourself is done?
I love tattoos, I definitely see them as art and a personal thing to do. I’ve had them since I was 18 and each tattoo I have has meaning to me and I think that is important. I would like to have a half sleeve eventually on my arms to express my love of Japanese tattoos. Tattoos are part of me and one of the ways I express myself, I don’t see myself later regretting having them done - I think you’ll only regret having tattoos if you have done them for the wrong reasons like it’s ‘trendy’ to have one or it makes you look ‘hot’… those reasons eventually fade away.
I like the fact great models like Masuimi Max, Sabina Kelly, Kat Von D (not a model I know) has expressed themselves with sleeves and big tattoos and are getting work. I admire them paving ways for society to be more comfortable on the subject and that being different doesn’t necessarily close doors and restrict work for models with one. I think it’s important to do what you feel is comfortable and not conform to what society finds acceptable; you’ve got to be happy with what you’re doing. The kind of modeling I do and enjoy is alternative/fetish themed as it’s creative and more expressive and my tattoos I like to think reflect that also.
3) Please describe a bit your stage performance involving a samurai sword, which you admit is being influenced from the Kill Bill movies. What kind of training helps you to perform such an original act?
My stage performance is titled ‘Thriller vs Kill Bill’ - influenced by both these films. I came up with this routine because of my love of martial arts and I’m inspired by what the films represent - the corruption of innocence and having revenge when you have been wronged. It’s certainly different to the mass of burlesque I’ve seen inspired by Dita Von Teese; I think what she does is great - she took something and made it her own... I want mine to involve what I like and also to kick ass! I’m licensed to carry a weapon, as we have in the UK a new law introduced preventing people buying weapons like samurai swords unless you are a collector or a sensei. I love performing this routine but most clubs don’t licence weapons. I do have other ideas that are just as dirty and naughty!
4) Your personal website is soon to be launched; what are your goals in exploiting that now indispensable kind of media tool?
My website is to showcase the work I have enjoyed creating and also as a portfolio. Any images I have can be used upon request for publication or prints bought for personal interest. I’m grateful to the photographers I have worked with as they are all professional and fun to work with.
5) Looking at you photo work, it becomes clear that you should be part of any kind of video projects. What for you would be an ideal part in a motion picture, for instance?
I have just finished my first video project for ‘Wyld Stallyons’ which is a mind bending artistic short film. I would love to do more filming if a suitable offer comes up but absolutely no porn! I’m not much into chick flicks, I enjoy action/horror films more so certainly anything like Matrix, Kill Billl or any Japanese horror films (i.e. The Ring) would be fun! Though casting as a villain rather than a screaming chick would especially be cool; it wouldn’t be acting! LOL!
6) Are you a frequent attendee of fetish events?
Yes, I enjoy attending fetish events, I just did a fashion show at Festival of Sin (a popular fetish club in London) with Valkeyrie Corset which was a lot of fun. It's nice to meet like-minded people and let loose your inhibitions knowing everyone there is as weird yet wonderful as you are - you could turn up in your most wildest outfit and no one bats an eyelid - I think it is great!
7) Are there any artists right now in the international fetish scene that you admire and/or would like to work with?
I admire photographers who are unique in their own way and therefore produce such creative inspirational photos and as a model I can be inspired too. I’ve got quite a lot, some of them includes Steve Diet Godde, Lithium Picnic, Christine Kessler, Viva Van Story, Robert Chouraix, Eric Martin, Perry Gallagher, etc… it would be an honour to work with them.
8) And on a final, lighter note: Let’s say that we get into trouble with some local Montreal kingpin crimelord… can we count on your services for, let’s say, cut up the animosity? :)
NO - I AM A SWEET LITTLE INNOCENT GIRL AND A COMPLETE PACIFIST AND NOBODY BETTER SAY OTHERWISE!
