1) Can you give us a bit of info on your ethnical background?
I am very mixed... My background comes from Ethiopia, Czech Republic, Yugoslavia, Denmark and German.
2) So why did you choose the Skin name for your modeling assignments?
To be perfectly honest, there isn't a special reason to the name Skin. I was trying to think of a name quickly for an alternative website I was thinking of modeling for and "Skin" just popped into my head. It was a good choice in the end... I am always complimented on how great my skin is, so it kinda fits now!
3) At what point did you choose the career path of an alternative model? Was this well received by your family/friends?
I wanted to model for one of the many "alt porn" websites that were around because I was into that style and wanted to be a model but I didn't think I'd ever be able to be a fashion model. I'm a bit too short. At first my family and friends were a bit skeptical about my nude modeling, thinking it to be sleazy porn pictures, but now that they see that I only model for high quality projects they think my modeling is very cool!
4) You must have some past & present models that influence you still. Any people in particular?
Well the woman who made me want to be a model in the first place was the beautiful Bianca Beauchamp! And just this year I got the chance to meet her at Fetish Evolution where we were both modeling... Other models I look up to are Ulorin Vex, Mosh, Apnea, Ancilla Tilla & Kumi. They are all such fantastic models it's hard not to be influenced by them!
5) About the pink hair… was this just a passing phase or are you always willing to try some out of the ordinary styles?
I started off having pink hair but I've been many colours over the years... Blue, green, blonde, purple. But these days I'm going to stick with the pink as it's my favourite colour! If I need to have "normal" coloured hair, I just use wigs!
6) You have been featured in some fetish event (Rubber Ball, Torture Garden, etc.). Do you have any special memories? What constitues for you a succesful kinksters’ celebration?
Being able to meet all the models I look up to are definitely my biggest highlights! A successful fetish event in my eyes is one where I get a lot of work done and have a blast at the same time!
7) What can you tell us about shooting with Christine Kessler?
Christine is amazing and extremely talented. She was the first professional photographer I ever worked with and was the person who let me try on a latex dress for the first time, so if it wasn't for her I would never have transgressed from Alt modeling to Fetish Modeling. And I'm pleased to say that we still work together whenever I go across to LA.
8) There’s mention that you were involved in the movie New Town Killers. Wasn’t this released this month (June 2009) in the UK? What was your role in that project?
I had a very small role. The film is set in Edinburgh which is where I live currently, and my role was of the main character's girlfriend in the club scene. I landed the role by pure chance. I happened to work in a clothing shop where they were selecting the two main characters clothing from, and the director, Richard Jobson, saw me and thought I'd be perfect for the small part. He apparantly loved my style!
9) Down the line, what are your goals towards your career? Do you enjoy it a day at a time or are you more of a long-term planner?
Modeling is definitely what I see myself doing for a long time... Doesn't everyone want to make a living from doing what they love?
10) In discovering you, we immediately thought about another gorgeous and talented Siren not too far from you geographically, the sweet and unique Demari Vi Syth! You girls would be awesome together on a project! So… are you as comfortable working with other models on a shoot? (or are THEY comfortable with YOU? LOL)
I LOVE working with other models too! I've always had a thing for the ladies... especially beautiful girls in latex!
11) Does playing all these colorful characters for modeling assignements reflect on your personal life? In other words, in private do you more play video games stretched out on the sofa wearing jogging shorts or can we imagine you whipping some (un)fortunate soul down in your basement? ;D
I am a fetishist at heart, but I'm more the sort of girl you'd find being whipped ^_~ Although I'm an actress as well so I love role play! But when I'm not doing something kinky I would say that I'm a strange mixture of a party girl and a book worm. Sometimes I think I have two personalities rolled into one!
12) Ever been to Canada? Do you realize how many Fetish Cult Sirens enthusiasts are willing right now to wait for you at the Montreal Airport in the hope of carrying your luggage? =)
I keep getting invited to go to Canada actually haha! I'm sure I'll make it there as soon as the opportunity presents itself. I'm very spontanteous, so it's hard to say when exactly I'll make it there! Sooner rather than later I hope!
