This raven-haired beauty from Sweden
is once again great proof that European models have that little je-ne-sais-quoi touch
of class...
1) Can you tell us a bit about how did you started becoming a model?
Well actually the first time I stood in front of the camera was just to try it out and challenge myself, because I had always hated being in front of the camera, thinking I look stupid in pictures. But since I worked with a really good photographer who knew what he was doing, he brought out the best of me and managed to capture it. And I discovered that I really enjoyed it. And when showing others my work it seemed people liked my photos, so I don’t know really but from there on I just kept going. I can say now that I don't regret that! And also... photoshoots are one of the best occasion to wear fancy clothes like latex.
2) What do you prefer more: a solo photoshoot or a runway assignment?
Oh I really can't choose. Of course doing a solo shoot can be awesome, especially if it's a cool idea and setting and cool styling, like a shoot where I really get to express myself or be a character. But nothing gives me the same rush as being on stage and perform live before lots of people. I cannot really compare these two, to me they're totally different things but if I have to I think I will have to go for the last option at least for the moment.
3) What can you tell us about the fetish scene in Sweden?
Well... On one side, one could say that there are lots of things happening here in Sweden but still it's really not much of a scene here if one would compare it to Germany or England for example. Sure, we have communities, quite high social acceptance and lots of fetish people all over the country, but not many clubs at all, nor artists. We have a club called Dekadance, maybe you've heard of it. But that's the only big party we have. I've noticed that there are upcoming fetish clubs here in Sweden (never visited one of those yet) so I hope the scene will continue to grow in the future.
On the other hand, we have many many talented photographers, performers, models and designers in Sweden, especially in the northern parts there seem to be loads of them (if you look at the percentage of people living there towards the number of well-known talents). Still the question itself is a bit misleading since at least as I feel it the Swedish scene is more of a suburb to, or a neighbourhood in the world-wide scene, rather than a scene of it’s own, for good and bad.
4) How many countries have you managed to visit until now? What would be your ultimate dream place to go for work or even to be just a tourist?
Well I have been around some... France, Germany, England, Ireland, Denmark and so on. But I have always been working so I haven't got the chance to see much, unfortunately. I would really LOVE to go to Australia! Egypt would be awesome also... and I have always wanted to go to LA to do some work. And of course Canada would be nice.
5) You are managed by The Core; what made them your choice to act as your representatives?
Since it's a company that's based in Sweden it's easy for me to meet the people in the agency and get to know them, and let them get to know me a bit better and it's easier to communicate and work together. And they have some of the best photographers and alternative models in the world so it was kind of a natural choice.
6) Do you expect some day to display more tattoo work on yourself?
I have one tattoo on my back already and I think that's enough... at least for now when I work a lot with modeling. I have one or two more tattoos I'd like to have on my body sometime but what it is I will keep a secret for now.
7) Tell us the truth now… do you prefer wearing a tiny bikini or a full-length purple latex dress?
Hehe... I have to admit I'm a true exibitionist... so I enjoy wearing a tiny bikini and show of my body... yes... Preferably a tiny bikini in latex though ;) At the same time it's an awesome and sensual feeling to be totally wrapped in rubber... so I think I prefer the latex dress, but I would like to change it to a full length TRANSPARENT purple dress.
8) How was it for you to do those Shibari pictures? Is this something that you’d like to explore more?
I really enjoyed it! It was so much fun to be bound and then also lifted up in the air in the ropes. I will definitively explore it more, but I will only do it with someone who has a lot of experience of Shibari. The guy I'm working with has done it for many years and his name is Moss. He lives in Gothemburg and I think I will go there this summer... so maybe my next session will be very soon?
9) Now we have seen a picture of you alongside Sirens Bianca Beauchamp and Skin… what is your degree of enjoyment when posing with other super-models?
I love being surrounded with beautiful women and those two are some of my favourites! So guess if I enjoyed that evening ;)
10) Do we also understand that you’ve taken photographs yourself, as well as being a skilled makeup artist and stylist? Is there no end to your many talents? ;)
Well I wouldn't say I'm a skilled makeup artist and stylist yet, but I love to style and do the makeup of my models when I shoot them and I enjoy helping others with that stuff sometimes too. For some reason I seem to succeed with it, haha. I get bored if I don't try new stuff and challenge myself... I think that's the key to evolve and gain new skills.
11) What do you do when it’s time to relax? And do you "play" in your private life?
I rearly relax... but when I do I love to watch movies! I'm a film junkie. And working out is something I love doing and that really helps me relax and get all the stress out of my body. In opposite to what most people might think, I don't have much time at all to "play"... when I don't work or do other creative stuff, I'm too tired to do anything besides rest in the sofa with a movie and tea, haha.
12) Would a visit to Canada be something that you’ll consider? (you can just say YES!!!)
Absolutely!!!! I really want to come to your Fetish Weekend! Just have to figure out how to cross the Atlantic first ;)
