1) Of course, we just have to know where does your passion for fetish comes from. Many fetish models have discovered since their young age a fascination for very feminine accessories; others kind of fell into it by accident much later. How have you discovered your own interest?
When it all started I cannot say but since I was a child I had a weakness for the insignias of female power – high heels, lipstick, mini skirts – simply everything that turns a girl into a seductive vamp! I often rummaged through my mother's cabinets or strode with her high heels through the house and found myself irresistible ;-). This fascination for fetish clothing has remained up to this day and has actually increased.
I love to slip into different roles, to transform and reinvent myself perpetually. It is a game, a temptation! My absolute favorites amongst fetishes are latex, corsets and high heels – especially in this combination! An elegant evening dress can be just as inspiring as strict heavy rubber style or the sweet pin-up in nylons and brocade corset!
2) What do you find most satisfying: an elaborate photo shoot carefully planned for weeks in advance or a spontaneous one that takes place on the spur of the moment?
Both belong to my life as a fetish model and shootings of both variants have a special appeal of their own. Some shoots are actually 100% realizations of my fantasies and are planned and prepared by myself in the long-term. This is an exciting process. I have a picture in my head or a story that I would like to tell and then I put all the puzzle pieces into place: outfit, location, styling, photographer, accessories … this is often very tedious. But it is great moment when I finally see my fantasies realized in pictures. The vast majority of my shoots fall into this category.
Spontaneous shootings are completely different. Here, only the moment counts. It is exciting and thrilling. The space for creativity is enormous and it works particularly well when a model and photographer are on the same wavelength. I therefore would not decide which kind of shooting I like better. I need the whole bandwidth!
3) More and more artists in the "mainstream" entertainment industry adopt latex/rubber/PVC wear for their videos, live performances, etc. Do you find that this is positive for the scene or will it be just a passing trend?
I have always felt that most of the major fashion designers are fetishists in their heart - just think of the daring Gaultier corset creations or sky-high heels of Galliano. Insofar fetish was always a part of fashion and thus found its mitigated way into the wardrobe of fashion-conscious fashion victims. It is therefore not an entirely new trend to use fetish elements as an eye-catcher, deliberate provocation or display of attitude. Ok, sometimes one has the impression that the only reason kinky outfits are incorporated into videos and performances is to stimulate sales, according to the motto: "Sex sells". But generally speaking, I am all for it! I am still waiting for a series of Playboy Mansion where all the girls are sexy baby-pink latex bunnies! *LOL*.
4) What would you say is the biggest misconception that the general public still believes in towards the fetish scene?
Since I live in Berlin which is probably one of the most liberal cities of the world, I am not really affected by this subject. I can stroll through the city with a heavy rubber outfit with no problems and I enjoy this very much. It gives me the freedom to live out my fetish without having to hide. I am of course aware that a lot of fetishists do not have this opportunity and are afraid of an outing because they have to fear exclusion or even worse. This is a sad situation which often comes from misunderstandings. Most of the time fetishes, BDSM and other sexual practices and inclinations are lumped together and condemned as being perverse out of ignorance. I think these people should throw their prejudices over board and go to a fetish event themselves to catch a glimpse of this extraordinary subculture.
5) What fellow artists are still an inspiration to you? Any current favorite models, photographers, etc?
I just love the style and the glamour of old the black-and-white movies. I admire the unforgettable divas of that time such as Marlene Dietrich. The mood, lighting, style and photographic orchestration are still a strong influence on my projects. Since I have worked with so many excellent photographers and sweet models, it is quite hard for me to point out any favorites. If I started to drop names, I would do the ones not mentioned no justice. I can definitely say that I enjoy working the most with those artists where a personal relationship has built up beyond just the pure activity of shootings. After all, this lifestyle is the path I choose and it is much more enjoyable with likeminded travelers at my side.
6) Is there a dream project that you haven’t yet fullfilled? Is it too indiscreet to know what it could be? :)
In fact alongside my job as a model I am working on another project - my baby as I call it ;). It is the online shop www.feisty-cat.com! We offer a handpicked selection of high heels, boots, fascinators, pvc clothing, exotic wear, accessories, false lashes & much more. Latex fashion is also in the planning. I think this will be my central project for the next few years. After that I will found my fetish empire and dominate the world *haha*.
7) Have you done any film work? What would be an ideal part for you in a feature-length movie?
I had appearances in several videos – amongst others in the fetish video Destination X from Stahlwolf in a principal role. In addition there are a myriad of small videos and a commercial where we get back to the subject of fetish goes mainstream ;). In the near future, I would like to focus on the area of fetish videos and do even more films. This media is exciting and offers far more diverse possibilities than photography alone. 8) According to your own personal tastes, what makes a perfect fetish event? Do you choose very carefully the location of your own appearances?
The perfect fetish event is an exhilarating festivity for all senses. I put special expectations on a selected audience that dresses up for the occasion - as I do. I like to meet friends. Also, the location should have charisma, various rooms and retreat opportunities. I also appreciate dark imaginatively furnished rooms very much. The music should match the occasion because I want to dance! A really good performance tops off the evening ... this is what my perfect fetish party looks like!
9) In your view, does the constant evolution of the Internet will eventually change the interaction between fans and artists?
I think the Internet has made communication between artists and fans really possible – by means of forums, blogs, MySpace & co, we share with each other and take part in the lives of others - it has become a real big fetish family in some way where everyone knows each other. I am pleased when fans write me and express what they particularly like or comment on my photos. I will answer to nice messages of course. Only crude chat-up lines or applications as a house slave will immediately be sent to Nirvana.
10) And to conclude in a more lighter tone… what is your favorite color for fetish-wear? Red, black or other?
Uhmm… LUV all of them!!! But my favorites are black, red and transparent mauve!
