1) Can you share with us a bit about your background and any info about your ethnic heritage?
Background: I was born and bred in the lovely sunny UK lol. My mummy was born in Burma (Myanmar), my dad was born in Gabon, but both my parents are mixed race, so my ethnicities are - 1/2 white (belgian + english), 1/4 black + 1/4 oriental (gabonese + burmese).
2) Why did you decide to become a model and from how long have you been active in the field?
I have been active since January 2010 when I forced my way in to the modelling world. I decided to become a model as I thought if you've got it flaunt it. ;)
3) As a petite model, can you claim that your size has given you advantages along some disadvantages?
Yes in all honesty, obviously most of the time it restricts work for me but sometimes if the studio/location you are shooting is small then togs may favour a little model such as myself. :) I recently did a catwalk show for Alternative Fashion Week 2012, London, so height doesn't have much to do with talent in my opinion!
4) Which models right now are inspirational to you?
Ivory Flame, Ulorin Vex, Fo Porter, Alison Harvard + the recent Britain+Ireland NTM'S Winner Jade from Manchester.
5) Since you can change your looks and play different kinds of characters, can we ask if you ever done drama or are you interested in acting in any form?
I did drama at school briefly, also did some brief acting and stuff for GCSE English, never really pursued acting as I can go a bit shy (believe it or not), particularly if it's in front of a lot of people on a big stage lol. However, I have done video work such as music videos, tv documentaries, etc. so maybe one day I may delve more into the acting world but to be honest I doubt I'll be the next Halle Berry!
6) Would you like to explore more by wearing traditional fetish fabrics (latex, rubber), for example? And how about bondage pics, how comfortable are you with that?
I have modelled PVC and rubber but never latex. To model latex is a dream of mine and I seem to be the only alt model out there who hasn't. :( So i must change that soon! lol I tried bondage shoots about twice, I found it quite uncomfortable and odd but it's for a purpose I suppose but definetely not my favourite genre of fetish! Don't generally like being constrained!
7) How did you manage to once keep in single pose for two hours straight? Wow!!!
With great difficulty, lol, luckily it was a full lying down pose and I was on a matress with pillows however not being able to move a single limb for 2 hours did leave me with an incredible ache. lol dont know if life art modelling is for me really, much prefer photo and video work :)
8) Is there a lot of competition among the alternative models in London? Or do you just all love yourselves?
There is a lot of competition with alt models worldwide I would say, particularly in the UK and USA. Some love themselves a lot, others are just normal people like me. :)
9) How fun it is to be featured in BIZARRE Magazine?
Being really honest, BIZARRE dont seem to favour me as I am not 'ALT' enough for them, everytime I have been 'featured' it is the most tiny amount of space on a single page possible and they published the same pic of me 3 times (GREAT VARIETY THERE LOL), so really I'm not that pleased with them and I know they won't be the ones to really help me with my career! Gonna apply for FRONT and a few bigger better and more fair ALT magazines.
10) Is there a thin line between your modeling personality and your own private life? In other words, do you wear baggy sweatpants on your free time?
Ha, I am a very chilled out person when I am not my model self. I do kick around in my trackies and laze around in bed all day. I love animals so spend a lot of time with my zoo of pets. However, my personality modelling and in private life is pretty much the same, crazy and silly. ;)
11) Where do you see your career going in about 10 years from now?
Um hopefully I will have grabbed a few more high-profile music videos, travelled to a few more places in the world, and hopefully be signed by some commercial agencies, also want to have at least 4 covers by then IDEALLY!
12) Would you ever be interested in visiting us in Montreal to work with the Cult Sirens crew?
Yes sure if travel and accom was paid for ;) haha
