This European model was so nice and cooperative when chatting with us
via Facebook that in the very same day, she supplied us with this amazing
set of pictures. As a latex & rubber international fetish cover model
and performer, Nikla is one of the most famous fetish models in
Italy.
1) When did you discover an interest for fetish?
I was probably born with fetish interests. I remember trying a dress at an early age, putting on high heels, suspenders and nylon stockings belonging to my mom and grandma, in front of a mirror. When I turned 10, my mother gave me as a birthday gift just what I had asked for: PVC shoes with heels… I was so excited to finally have my own! The day after, she began to teach me how to walk properly in them.
When I became sexually active, I even then tried to play with my partners. So there’s not a precise moment when I fell into fetish & BDSM, but I progressively learned more as I got into the scene, where I met my ex-husband. Being more older and experienced, he helped me to understand many new things that I haven’t explored before, and I learned much more along the way.
Not so long after I met him, I became a professional Mistress in Italy.
2) Do fans behave differently towards you from one country to another?
No… a fan remains a fan, all in admiration about you as with a goddess. Any fetishistic fantasy changes from person to person, but when they get in touch with me, it’s always in a very kind way.
3) How did you like being the subject of a shibari photoshoot?
For a long time, I’ve been fascinated about shibari bondage art, but I principally remain a dominant person. Being well appreciated in Italy as a dominatrix, there was a taboo around the fact that I could be now considered becoming too submissive in trying it. Well, that’s not my point of view at all!
So for a while, I was cautious in trying this kind of play in public.
But I discovered the art of Hikari Kesho AKA Alberto Lisi, got in contact with him, as he’s one of the best fashion photographer in Italy and the greatest in shibari photo at the same time in this country.
We started working together in commercial shootings and fetish themes, and to finally start explore shibari. He introduced me to this art at a fashion shooting date, proposing it as straight shibari or with suspension.
Since I’m impulsive, I decided on the spot that it was "all or nothing", that was my deal. So on that first experience, I didn’t do simple bondage but full suspension in a latex outfit, since I’m a "hard fetishist" and that was what I wanted to project for my shoot.
I enjoyed being hung up, feeling as if I was flying, and appreciating that it was all of my own free choice… so that is the reason I liked it so much. Bondage shibari is just that, a freedom to fall… nothing to do with domination or whatever.
For this experience, it was like falling in love with the artist, as I shared a personal symbiosis with Hikari. He understands that I won’t do bondage for others, also he knows who I really am, what I want to become and what are the rules in playing with me. Working on that kind of project involves a great feeling between both artists, almost love, and a lot of admiration. It’s a unique situation and I do it with a special person. And it is he!
4) Do you have any favorite female fetish models working right now?
If you mean some idol or hero, no!!!
I’m so an egoistic person, so no one comes into my mind right now! But I respect a lot Bianca Beauchamp and who doesn’t…? She has a very nice face and I appreciate that she does a great job doing her work. But there’s many other models around the world that could eventually do as good as her, maybe not as famous yet but all pretty and talented, and with which I would enjoy working with.
I don’t have idols among models but there’s many photographers, artists and directors that I would love to work and create something with, before collaborating with any model. Well, I wanna be a star! (kidding…!) But I have many idols among people working in arts that I didn’t explore yet on my own and with whom I could create projects with, share ideas and learn from.
My partners working with me are very different people. Everyone is special for his or her own style, from heavy rubber to burlesque. I run a groupe of artists in Italy coming from very different backgrounds and it’s good for request for any clubs.
At this moment, I work a lot with my girlfriend Rea Silvia, an upcoming fetish model, and Rubberstar, one of the most famous model of that kind in Italy and my partner since 2006. There are other girls that I work with occasionally, models but not yet international fetish industry stars. I’m very open-minded to explore new situations, meet people and develop new projects.
5) What is the biggest satisfaction that you enjoy in your work?
I began as a model in the fashion industry at the early age of eighteen, where you are only a body to dress up, it was so frustrating. In the fetish scene, you can express yourself (that’s a must to be any good), the job is almost as an actress and this is exactly what I need and want to do… So I do have some acting experience and aim to also work more in that area.
I come from a very artistic family and I’ve grown up into the theater world. All my life was under reflectors and spotlights, no matter if I was a bit shy. Now I use my shyness to express my perfectionism as I’m very nervous before going on stage. Right at the moment that I step in, all my adrenaline is used to put the best exhibition possible… it’s a drug for me and for every artist that works on stage.
By myself, I play with what I can be and even try new things, new characters, faces and looks… play with transformation. Of course, I love to dress in latex outfits in which I found myself sexy, so modeling in the fetish scene is extremely erotic to me. Every model is an exhibitionist for doing this job of showing yourself without limits. It’s pure inspiration for my fantasies.
6) Can you promise us that you’ll be present at the next Fetish Weekend in Montreal? Please? Many people want to know…! ;-)
"Promise" is a very big word…! I can say that I will try my best, but if there’s someone to help me out for the trip, it will be easier as I live so far from you! I’m from Italy and the trip is so fucking expensive… So if there’s a possibility to work in Montreal for shoots, shows or similar work (or even better: on the stage at the Fetish Weekend!), that could help me pay for my ticket fare!
So I hope that we can realize this visit as well!
