On our list of Ever-Delightful-Persons-To-Correspond-With stands tall Mistress C, an incredibly skilled Domina and model who's involved in so many things that you better read right now what she has to say:
1) Can you share with us a bit about your background and any info about your ethnic heritage?
I am the first born of eight from my dad’s side LOL. As a child, I was a little disheartened by the falsehood that black Americans are unable to find their heritage due to lost records, or no records, etc. Then as I migrated from the Midwest to Los Angeles well into my adult life, I found more cousins and relatives who helped me discover more about my heritage. As they had successfully traced our beginnings to the early 1800's all the way to Ireland... hence my vanilla birth day shortened from an common Irish name. The mix bag of delicious treats is that I have a strong Native American from both sides, French, Black American and Irish! Yes, interesting yet so deliciously exotic. :-)
2) So how did you begin to get involved in the BDSM scene?
As a young child I questioned the status quo, all I knew is that being born the eldest required responsibility which I took seriously with a quite natural feel. I enjoyed power and it was used early in my childhood. As I matriculated, learning to not abuse power was the lesson taught. As a small child my play was very much as a TOP. I am one who thirsts for knowledge and in my 20's I consciously explored many forms of TOP style behavior, as I owned whips, dildos, etc. One of my boyfriends (very vanilla, and structured) got hooked on my use of dildo, ass play and whipping. When our relationship went off, he sorta stalked me! That was not comfortable so I ran back to the Vanilla world...
Then years later I dated a man who only wanted me to f*ck him n the ass... well I was again hooked and knew that I loved Topping him! That was over 17 years ago! As a lifestyle Dominant, it’s been part of my life until marriage happened at 41… and I reverted to "societal norms". Bad news on that one as I discovered it’s not good to fool "mother nature"! I am a FemDom and always will be! LOL Active as a Pro-Domme? For about 15 months.
3) Some people claim that to be a top domina, you must have been on the other side of the fence and have gone through sessions as a submissive; do you agree with that statement?
I do not believe or subscribe to that philosophy or that it’s a must for all TOP dominas. I feel it is another way for others to separate or judge another's level of commitment to their professions. TOP means enjoying and often preferring strap-on play, among other acivities which a top would enjoy. Also, in my case, I understand more about myself as a forced sub during my very short marriage... which taught me that I cannot Switch or that I am not comfortable being in a submissive role in NO area of my life! So, the TOP and Dominant is who I am and never had I played as a sub; however I study, appreciate and respect the role and metality of all submisives!
4) Now what is Erotica Hypnosis? How does it really work?
Erotica Hypnosis is I’m sure a phrase coined by another Dominatrix, I cannot own that one. However Hypnosis is a skill of techniques to induce the desired state of being, which I am fully qualified and skilled in. When I combine the element of BDSM KINK to my prepared scripts then it becomes....Erotica! So my definition of Erotica Hypnosis, is using the power of my voice combined with the power of suggestion using technique to create a space which feeds upon the visualization induced by the consult. Since BDSM is mental play for the most part, then hypnos takes it even further (like edge play of the mind). It is the experience played out in the mind with Intensity!
Therefore a pet (I call my slaves/subs: pets) could want to more fully except his feminine nature more intimately and desire a session in sissification or cross dressing for example. I induce a safe environment by painting the picture and allowing my sub to safely pay on the canvas, so to speak. It definetely works! As some of my clients are only Hypnosis and would prefer nothing else.
5) What would you say are your Top 3 favorite activities when doing BDSM sessions?
Oh this is hard... when there are sooooooo many scenes of activities. Ok, just three? I do enjoy flogging, and using all forms of canes, whips, paddles, my hands... delicious! Humiliation and many forms of CBT. Sissification and feminization (love to take my Sissys shopping, doing makeup and public floggings at parties).
6) In your view, what’s the worst behavioral trait that a domme can have?
The worst behavior trait a Domme could have is being unconscious... Okay that requires caveat... LOL I call it having your ASS so far up O/oness ass that if S/she hiccup it’ll fall out! What happened to class, sophistication, decorum, code of ethics and honor???? So the worst behavior trait is the lack of these. :-)
7) Are you a frequent attendee of fetish events? Does these gatherings hold any interest to you?
I am a frequent attendee of fetish events. My goal is to attend at least one each week. When I owned a local BDSM club here in Los Angeles, it was many nights a week. Which I enjoyed very much! So I’m planning of producing my own kink events. These gatherings hold more than just an interest for me, it’s my way of life. I get to dress in my fetishwear, I dance for my own enjoyment and excersize, meet great people, network with others, and just discover something new each time I am out. It keeps me energized and in heat for the next one when I’ll decide to pop into. :)
8) What can you tell us about your diverse websites? What kind of services and information do you feature?
Since I enjoy options and controlling those options, I've created a world of products and services which benefits my goals and also supports my agenda in offering safe, sane and consensual disciplinarian services. As a Domme who is an Entrepreneur these are the sensible needs : Clothes : I offer fetish wear for Dommes, Strippers, Tramps, and Vamps called "Mistress C Dare2Wear Collection"; toys and tools (the adult toy store), Entertainment (the events), Playing and offering momentos product offerings (Cee Dee Media & Productions), and of course my heart and life path as an Ordained Minister. My fun stuff are the modeling and acting gigs, as well as my passion for media, podcasting and teaching others!
I am a Domme of Many Trades. As a mature Domina, my life experiences in the Vanilla world were very tangible in business, management and making LOADS of money! As an entrepreneur Domina, I enjoy creating sensible offerings which I too enjoy! As an ordained minister and student of metaphysics, to offer services to the KINK community exclusively, such as mentoring, pre-marital coaching and collaring ceremonies, gives me my purpose. As a model, the many services I offer as a professional disciplinarian is one of the reason I am here. :)
9) Are there many people applying for a BDSM session with you that still surprise you with their demands? Or do you have to often reach into your own personal imagination to keep things fresh and stimulating?
What I brought into this game of life is acceptance of others and NOT be surprised with the demand of the potential pet/client. If I am comfortable with the request, I will facilitate it! However on the other hand, I feel it is ALWAYS best to create something new and fresh even with an old or seasoned submissive/client of many years. I am always thinking of something new and extending the limits a tad or two on each session. Now blood play, sounds and needle play are some of the requests that Mistress does not accommodate and perhaps never will. I am still evolving as God’s NOT done with me yet!!! So who knows... :-)
10) OK now what is your biggest fashion weakness… corsets? towering platform shoes? or any other? ;)
Hummmmmmmmmm... I am a BIG fashion weakness as I do enjoy all of them perhaps more than the average person. I do enjoy PVC, latex, leather and yes just anything in black. :-) I would say shoes. Yes, shoes are my weakness among all others. LOL
11) What is the biggest misconception form the general public towards the BDSM/fetish scene? And what would be the best way to educate people about it?
I feel the biggest misconception of BDSM for the general public is that everyone associated with the lifestyle is or must be some deviant or perversed human being who has fallen from GRACE. Often people FEAR what they do not understand! That fear takes on judgement, condemnation and a closed mind which feeds upon itself creating more of it. Really sad life to live! The best way to educate others is to share O/our experiences using the many platforms available such as yours and others. That is why to own your own media company offers a voice to reach others in forms of interviews, podcasting and events to expand the mind. Because it is such a terrible thing to waste on hate, and condemnation.
Each of us has a responsibility to educate those who are in our environs. "Feed a BABE milk first"... take it in small doses and do no force-feed the education. Some will connect due to the human connection, others will try and find that for many years they have missed the feeling of freedom of sexual expression and just have a banquet with the new found experiences. So we just share our experiences and stories thereby connecting with others on the basic level of human respect. When more of us, the alternative lifestylers, facilitate panels, have great publicists, document our experiences and journeys, more people will let go of the FEAR and jump into a life of explorations. We can only HOPE!!!
12) Now that you’ve become an official Siren, the next logical step should be for us to come up with a mutual creative project, shouldn’t we?
Absolutely Ben, It will be fun! :-) It is an honor to play with you! Thank you.
