We stumbled across killerbunny's pics on FetLife and ungh!!! it was love at first sight! Gorgeous, talented and charming... what more can we say?
1) ) Can you share with us a bit about your background and any info about your ethnic heritage?
I'm a first generation Mexican-American (my parents came here while I was still a bun in the oven). I was born and raised in Los Angeles. That being said, I've grown up with an appreciation of my heritage, since the population is largely latino in L.A., and I would travel to Mexico 2-3 times a year as a kid to visit family.
2) How did you begin to be involved in alternative photography?
I took my first steps into the alternative lifestyle in April of 2010, diving head first. I frequented the L.A. BDSM clubs at least once a week. Inevitably, I stumbled upon rope bondage, and quickly became an avid fan. I was lucky enough to meet and play with DonSir, who invited me to do my first photo shoot. Some of the pictures from that shoot are included here.
3) So… where is the official website? Any plans for it soon?
Yes, I do plan on creating a website in the near future. Stay tuned!
4) One of your pics made quite a sensation on FetLife… now how flattering can this be?
Frankly, I didn't know about it until a friend ran up to me at a rope bondage-demo and said "Congratulations on your picture making kinky and popular!". I said "Cool!.....What's that?" ...and so she enlightened me on the ways of FetLife's "kinky and popular" pictures.
5) So will you actually get a tattoo one of these days?
Absolutely! My first tattoo will be roses on my ribcage. I LOVE roses. I need to save up some dough for a good artist though. Eventually I'd like to have a full back piece done as well, but I haven't decided its content yet.
6) How do you see your personal and modeling careers five years from now?
If all goes as planned, I'll be in the middle of medical school in five years. I'd like to still be modeling on the side during this time, and I will definitely be modeling after I finish my education.
7) Tell us a bit about your passion for belly dancing?
It all started when I was 13: My cousin was taking a Hawaiian dance class, and was constantly boasting about her tiny waist. Being the self-conscious, insecure, adolescent girl that I was, I too wanted a tiny waist, and I promptly went to my local parks and recreation center to sign up for Hawaiian dance. The class was full, so I signed up for belly dance, which I thought would do the trick as well. I kept at it, and after a few years, I got pretty good at it. It turned into an artistic exercise outlet for me. When I was 17, my teacher encouraged me to perform in showcases. I did, and it all snowballed from there.
8) Concerning your bondage pics… were you in the fetish scene before you posed for that kind of theme or did you just discover it by being part of a shoot?
(See question 2) I had already dived into the fetish scene before getting involved in bondage modeling. I've since gone far more deeply into the lifestyle, and I feel that my pictures depict that progression. In the beginning, I identified myself as a sadomasochist switch. Now, I identify myself as a submissive in my personal relationships, although, if the right kind of person comes along, I sometimes switch for a scene.
9) Are there many more visual themes/subjects that you would like to explore more in the future?
Yes. I'd love to do more pin-up and glamour shoots, but I'm game for anything that is creative, innovative, thought provoking. Weird and funny tickle my fancy too: I recently had somebody approach me about shooting me dressed as a schoolgirl and beating up a clown. I'm pretty excited about it.
10) Can you claim that there’s a thin line between your private life and your modeling activities?
No, I keep my personal life separate from my modeling. I value professionalism, and do my best to not mix the two. However, since I am doing BDSM shoots, I inevitably will share some of my personal life, or at least my preferences therein, by capturing my personality and my state of being at that time.
11) Is there a vintage classical actress to you would like to portray for a photo assignment in the future? Or even a comic book heroine?
I'd love to do a Wonder Woman shoot (Charles Moulton's original comics had a lot of bondage and D/S themes) ...and Bettie Page, of course. My hair says it all.
12) Lastly, would you be up at some point to come visit us in Montreal and meet the Cult Sirens crew?
Sure! I haven't been to Canada yet, and I do love to travel.
