She's not only quite tall, Jayne also has her own unique and lots of ambition & talent!!!
1) Can you share with us a bit about your background and any info about your ethnic heritage? (well you seem to have something very exotic going on judging by the shape of your eyes…)
I am a 50/50 blend of German & Puerto Rican. Both of my parents traveled to the US, where they met in New York City some time ago. I feel extremely lucky to have been raised by two totally different cultures in one house - it really offered me a unique range of experiences and world perspectives!
2) How did you start out in modeling… was it in more mainstream projects first? Why are you more attracted by alternative projects?
I only recently started modeling as a form of self expression. Something about expressing my form in front of a camera really enticed me - and I went for it. Best decision ever! :) My personality is a blend of all sorts of styles - alternative being one of them - and I suppose being heavily tattooed and of a unique body shape lends itself to that genre. But that is not too say that I wouldn’t do "traditional" style work if presented with the opportunity.
3) OK right… so you’re very tall (5’10”)!!! Is it always an advantage for modeling work?
Everytime I meet a photographer for the first time they always say "Wow - you're tall!" Thats why on my Model Mayhem and other Model portfolio sites I tend to note that first, and in bold, lol! I wouldn't say it was an advantage or disadvantage - I personally think it is distinguishing, but I think it is knowing how to maneuver my height and stature that has led me this far.
4) Is there a big fetish scene in Santa Cruz? Do you attend fetish events yourself?
Since I m relatively new to Santa Cruz and California in general, I m only starting to uncover what would be considered the local fetish scene. I am working on a fetish/burlesque routine and hoping to debut it sometime in the next few months, til then I would absolutely attend any local fetish events!
5) Tell us all about your ink work and what it means to you… and do you have more tattoos planned for the future?
My tattoos are all the work of artists whose personality and portfolios attracted my eye. I've trusted each of my artists with my body and am grateful to have done so. I have lots of tattoos planned for the future, but all in time :)
6) Do you have any elaborate career plans for the future? Where do you see yourself in 10 years from now?
Elaborate career plans? No - general career plans - yes. I plan on maintaining my modeling career and hope to get published within this first year, and debut my website. I look forward to performing & traveling and who knows - perhaps a dash of designing in the works as well!
7) Would you be up to do some stuff involving bondage… or wearing latex, for example?
I would love to do some bondage work- I have this vision of really beautiful high end fashion mixed with ropes and/or latex. I've only just begun in the art of modeling, so I am doing my best to aspire to these things, and to work with professionals at such a level.
8) Why isn’t there an official website yet?
Good question- it's important to me that I debut a site of the highest quality- so in the meantime I am working on building content for the site and working with my web designer to put something together that can adequately reflect me.
9) Any favorite activities when it’s time to relax?
Relaxing IS a favorite activity of mine! I am a regular at yoga and the beach- luckily both are within a 10 minute walk from home.
10) Do you travel a lot around? Any chance of seeing you in Canada soon? :D
I do travel- and I look forward to traveling more as my modeling career grows. Canada is an absolute! I frequent Florida & look forward to a Euro tour next year and am looking forward to exploring Southern California and Mexico more as well!
