We were in contact with Jalisa for some months now, offering her to become a Siren as soon as proper material could be gathered. Well all this was rectified when we met her at FetishCon 2010, as she was gracious enough to pose for us with our friend Lexxi Brown and also for hot solo shots. It's the case of meeting someone who's as beautiful as she really is in her pics, so the stage will be set once again next year!

1) Can you tell us a bit about your background, upbringing, etc.?
I was born and raised in Tampa, Fl. there isn't much more to say than that.
2) Now were you interested in makeup first and then modeling, or was it the other way around?
I was definitely interested in makeup first. Starting from around the age of 5, playing in my mom's lipsticks. As I grew older with the help of Youtube and MySpace, I learned quite a bit. From there it was Makeup for plays, proms then weddings. As far as modeling once I stumbled upon ModelMayhem, seeing all the sexy curvy models... I had to give it a try.
3) Are there any models/artists/entertainers out there that still inspire you?
My ultimate inspiration is the model London Andrews. She is just an excellent and talented model. And though her body changes, her work only gets better.
4) Soooo… when will the official website be on line? (we can also help out with this, you know!)
I have no idea when I'll have enough content to have my own website, but I hope by years' end.
5) Tell us all about your makeup artist training… would you see yourself doing this full time in the future? And what about all these instructional videos on your YouTube account? Does this mean that you would like to teach, at some point?
Well I have no formal training, The only thing I would like to learn is airbrushing, everything else I feel is talent and you can't learn that. I do see myself doing makeup as my actual profession one day, hopefully while still modeling. And about my YouTube tutorials, they're more for anyone who wanted to know how I do my makeup, as I do get a lot of questions. I find it easier to just show everyone. I also like to answer questions, but I don't see myself teaching.
6) Interestingly, you seem to gather also a lot of attention with just pictures of you shot in a mirror with your own cellphone… do you find amusing that people also like this even compared to more elaborate photo shoots?
I feel that people give me a lot of attention for my cell phone shots because they think in my professional photos, that I've been heavily edited. There are quite a few models who do allow their photos to be edited unrealistically. So when they see me, without all the "Glitz and Glam" they know that I am... how I am.
7) How would you describe the modeling scene in Tampa?
I think Tampa is very diverse. With photographers, models, makeup artist, stylists, everything. Not too many people have the same style and it's awesome.
8) Are you planning future tattoo/piercing work in the future? What would you like to express more?
I love love love body modifications. I plan to get multiple piercings soon, face and body. and I have tons of tattoo ideas some lyrics some actual pieces. Just gotta organize my thoughts lol
9) Since you’re quite curvy, what are your views on the “thin, underfed & pale” model stereotypes still active on mainstream runways?
I PERSONALLY find the standard boring. I like models with curves, tattoos, piericings, Different is just awesome to me.
10) There’s something about you in fishnets, as we found out first hand… is there any other kind of clothing that you didn’t try out yet that would be interesting for you to wear in a future project? (i.e. latex?)
I love corsets, anything tight for that matter. I would love to have a shoot in something not clothing, like glitter or whipped cream. And I definitely would love to wear latex in a future shoot. Latex dresses, pants, shorts, skirts, bras, everything!
11) You know that meeting and working with you was one big highlight of our recent Florida trip this. Finally being an official Siren seemed to be a goal of yours since we began corresponding… so the question remains: what are your future plans toward more fetish/bondage work?
I think I may make seperate portfolios and accounts for my bondage and fetish work so I can really take off with it. I loved bondage and fetish so far.
12) August 2011, next FetishCon… can we still bribe you with more chicken wings and white wine? LOL (Of course, this is our next appointment!!!) So… can we count on you next time to film some sort of Russ Meyer homage with a couple of other gorgeous Sirens?
