We have worked with Domina Erzulie before, in our first ever Vampires project. So it was just natural to ask her again for a more fetishistic adventure. Her natural talent before a camera is a pleasure to behold.
1) How long have you been a professional dominatrix and what has motivated your decision?
I have been on the scene for about four years; however I am a professional dominatrix for two years now. To make a story short, had I known sooner what a dominatrix was, I would have been one a long time ago!
One night I was watching a CSI episode on TV and there was a woman playing the role of a dominatrix. At that moment, I understood my behaviours that went back as far as when I was eight years old. During my adolescence, I often questioned who I was and my behaviour and had to go through a lot of frustration of always having to hold back. After watching that episode, I understood at that moment it was possible to be who I am and feel free about it. I also understood there were a lot of people like me out there (I discovered that through my research on the subject on the Internet).
Soon after, there was no hesitation and no doubt in my mind about what I wanted. I played in my personal life for a couple of years but I wanted more. I eventually contacted Mistress Vanisha at the Club Montreal Fetish (which no longer exists). I met with her and a week later I started as an apprentice dominatrix at the CMF.
2) What do you estimate to be the percentage of potential submissives that ask of you very unusual (but still interesting and intriguing) scenarios (as opposed to more "classic" sessions)?
First of all, I really enjoy what I’m doing and when I accept a scenario it’s because I know I will get into it and enjoy it as much as the sub. I never accept a session if the scenario is not appealing to me, even though it could be tempting to do it just for the money. But I would then go against my convictions… If I’m not into it, my performance will suffer and it will show. I’m a true professional and if I can’t deliver at 100%, I don’t do it. That being said, I estimate the unusual scenarios to be between 5 and 10% of all the demands I receive. Oddly enough, the unusual scenarios are often the most interesting ones to me.
3) How would you describe your personal style as a dominatrix?
I’m very strict, but I like to have fun with my submissives. Therefore, I let them express themselves. I don’t ask them to shut up until given permission to talk; it’s just not my style. But it doesn’t mean they can top from the bottom! They soon find out who is in charge. I’m not the kind to yell or shout during a session… I speak softly but carry a big stick! :-D In summary, one can expect sensuality, tease (and denial), laughter, humiliation, and pain… lots of pain (I’m a real sadist)! But I’m very attracted to different aspects of BDSM and I truly have an open mind.
4) Any truth to the story that to become an experienced domme you must have been a submissive first (to "enjoy" both sides of the fence)? Legend or truth?
In my case it doesn’t apply. But it doesn’t mean it can’t apply to others…
5) Is there something missing in the Montreal BDSM scene?
The BDSM scene in Montreal, as compared to major cities like London, Berlin, Paris or New York, is fairly young. Therefore, I would say that the BDSM scene in Montreal could take advantage of more visibility and awareness. At the same time, it’s a small crowd and most people know each other which makes it friendlier, I guess. In the general public, people are often not well informed about what BDSM entails to. Put in the mix the influence of some adult oriented movie companies that have jumped on the bandwagon and mix BDSM and hardcore sex and you get very confused people (mostly men). I would say that it confuses especially the young ones who are just discovering the scene.
Fortunately, some people are putting the effort through informative web sites to educate people about what BDSM is all about. Don’t get me wrong, I do mix occasionally sex and domination in my personal life, but professionally, it should never be expected of me. For those who offer it, it’s their prerogative, but most Mistresses in Montreal don’t offer that kind of service!
6) You seem very interested with feet... would you say that it could be you own private fetish?
Yes, I do have a foot fetish for and especially toward women. As for Pro sessions, I very much enjoy a foot fetish session when it’s well done. However, I don’t care much for subs who drool all over my feet!
7) Can you describe your objectives regarding your Foot Fetish Extravaganza events?
It’s an event that allows men or women who have fetish about woman’s feet and who enjoy light domination to express their fantasies in a safe and pleasant environment. It’s held in a private Club so only people that have made a reservation and paid their entrance fee can attend the evening. That makes it safer and allows avoiding unwanted people. There’s good background music and there’s time to chat with the ladies over a drink (non-alcoholic beverages only). This is an environment that is very different from dungeons, which can be very intimidating for people that are not in the BDSM scene. Also, the Club environment offers the possibility to socialize with other people that have similar fetishes. My ultimate objective would be to make this very popular fetish more accepted and out in the open.
