1) What can you tell us about your ethnic background & place of birth?
My mum’s side is from Barbados and my dad’s side is from Jamaica. I was born in Birmingham, England.
2) When did you become aware that modeling was something that you were interested in and would be good at?
Lol! It was after my first shoot I did with Lou Sonyak Photography which was just meant to be a one off! But I got so much good feedback I gave the whole modeling thing a go!
3) Are there key personalities in the worlds of fashion & culture that still hold a big influence/inspiration on you?
To be honest not really! LOL! Well, I do love alternative fashion and I’ve done it since I was 12! One fashion that I do hold close to my heart is Japanese! I just love Love LOVE IT!
4) How much control are you ready to give when you shoot a photo session? Are you very bossy with the photographers? LOL
Well it depends on the shoot really! I've done a few where I've had to control! When I first started out, I didn't give much attention but after a few shoots I knew what I wanted from a picture! I'm not bossy at all, I like my shoots to be laid back and fun :)
5) What is the worst misconception that the general public still holds towards professional models, in your view?
That we’re stupid! Also that pro models must be a size 0... which is a load of RUBBISH!
6) We love the purple hair… are you the type that isn’t afraid to try colorful looks to experiment with?
Thank you :). But the purple is gone now! Well the only colours that i would never have is blonde or brown! They're just too "normal" for me! LOL!
7) Where do you see your modeling career going in five years from now, for instance? Are you a long-term planner?
I don't know! I would love it to be a long time plan but I take every day as it comes!
8) Would you be interested to model in latex, rubber, leather… does typical fetish wear hold any interest to you?
All i'm saying is yes, Yes, YES! I would love to!
9) What kind of impact would you desire to leave from your photo work? Is there a specific purpose or message behind it all… or are you just enjoying the fun of it?
Well, I would like my photos to help show other plus size ladies that they should be proud of their curves, that's one of the main reasons why I did a underwear shoot! The other thing as well is that black alternatives do exist! I've had a few black alts message and come up to me and say it's great seeing a black alternative model!
10) You seem to like posing outdoors… is that a coincidence or is it on purpose?
That's on purpose! LOL! It's because there is more things to pose with outdoors... Plus in a studio, I don't know what to do with myself! But as winter draws in, I may start doing some studio shoots!
11) Do you have many hobbies outside of anything that has to do with photography? What do you enjoy more when it’s time to relax?
I enjoy drawing, painting, going on long random walks, watching Japanese horror films and Final Fantasy games! I do enjoy a lot more stuff but these are the things that relax me :)
12) Now that you’ll have tons of new fan in Canada (& elsewhere!), when are you planning to visit us in Montreal? ;)
LMAO! I don't think I'll get any fans! But hey! Who knows? I may come over xD
