1) Can you tell us a bit about your early background and first interest in all things fetish?
It is a long history and a bit personal, but briefly I can say I was born in a small town in southern Italy and unfortunately when I was little I've felt too much the difference in treatment between how men and women lived... badly against machismo I was in a fight and I started thinking that being a woman was almost a bad luck. Then I got older, I had my first experiences with men and I realized that the relationship of domination that spontaneously established with the partner made me feel well, have a man under my command for me was a way to redeem... so I approached the world of fetish and BDSM, I found latex and pvc clothes and high killer heels and I knew I wanted that world. I started to appreciate my femininity and feel irresistible and dangerous So was born Damaged Doll, a doll dangerous with a perfect surface, but inwardly and irreversibly damaged.
2) Are there artists that you would say inspired (and still inspires) you in your work?
My favorite artists are Giger and Charlie Chaplin but really I am not inspired by anyone in particular, when I pose for a photo shoot or when I perform in a show I just try to leave my personality and do what I feel, but I particularly appreciate fetish-artists like Perish, Emily Marilyn, Morrigan Hell and Xarah Von Den Vielenregen.
3) OK why are all models adore so wearing latex? :D
Oh my God latex is so erotic, that is to be seen to touch! It's the sexiest material ever, if not particularly comfortable to wear, but I love that slight choking sensation I feel when I put it on my body, merges with my skin, it's almost like having sex! I love to see me dressed in latex, but strictly black or red, my favorite color is black and I do not like bright colors.
4) You are a very tall model! Do your feel that your height is a big advantage in your work?
It is true I'm very tall, my height is 178 cm without shoes , but I must say that my career began as a model for high fashion and in that area the height is a prerequisite! When I was young, I was tall and thin with no shape but I figured I could take advantage of these physical characteristics to become a model! Then I approached the alternative /fetish environment and here the height does not count for anything! Therefore, the height was an advantage at the beginning of my journey.
5) How would you describe the fetish scene in Italy? Is it only about fashion or are there many individuals living it 24/7?
The fetish scene in Italy is very controversial and difficult, unfortunately. I met many difficulties especially in the beginning, because there is much confusion about this subject and most people think that fetish is a deviant lifestyle, a sexual perversion, a particular branch of pornography! Too many people are critical and they don't understand all this but I do not care, I think I'm a perfectly normal girl, and I make a normal life.
Now things are slowly changing, fashion has introduced some elements typical of the fetish world, such as latex, were born contaminations as the fetish-fashion and fetish-burlesque, now people are more curious and tolerant but still lacking in important Italian magazines that deal with or important designers who create fetish latex clothes. But luckily in Rome, where I live, is held once a month the Ritual, the most important Italian fetish party, which is truly a landmark for lovers of this subculture.
6) Can you describe for us what kind of performances you did at different fetish shows?
Think being an artist in constant evolution, are curious and attracted to all that still do not know, I perform in catwalks for fetish-designers and in burlesque shows, at this moment I am most looking forward suspension and body modification and I'm studying the pole dance and belly dancing, I would like to create performances with elements derived from tribal fusion.
7) We always liked fumetti books and artist Franco Saudelli… did you ever consider becoming a comic book heroine yourself? Or is there an existing character that you’d like to portray for a shoot?
Yes I really like comics and I love Franco Saudelli! Different illustrators have created some beautiful images inspired by my photos and I was very amused to see me become a comic! Would be nice to play "The Blond" in a photo shoot!
8) Is there a thin line between your Damaged Doll image and your private life? In fact, we want to know if you play a lot in your intimate time…!
There is not much difference between my image and my real life and I spend my free time with my partner, who is the same for the past four years, he is a DJ and working in my own environment and we really like to play in our intimate time :) I can be sweet and romantic or unconventional and passionate, slave, lovely puppy, mistress, geisha or bitch but I do not like playing with people I do not know, but with my boyfriend, everything is permitted. Damaged Doll isn't a virtual character, it's me.
9) Do you actually find time to relax? What are your favorite things to do when you’re not on any assignments?
Although always busy, I always find time to relax and have fun with my friends! in my every day life. When not working as a model, I dedicate myself to my passions, which, in addition to latex and high heels, are the pole dance and belly dancing, I read many books (I'm graduated in modern literature), listen to music and go shopping!
10) Did you ever got the chance to travel outside Europe? We’d love to see you at some point in Montreal! :D
Unfortunately at the moment I've never been outside Europe but I definitely want to travel around the world and I'd really love to come also in Montreal, if it were me I would live in a different place every day!
