Here's a young but exceptional talent who can become either blonde or dark... and still be equally enticing!!!
1) Can you share with us a bit about your background and when you started modeling?
My background isn’t anything special, but I have a supportive family and friends, currently I’m at University studying Psychology and Criminology. I started modeling in May 2009 when I had my first shoot, it was something that I had wanted to do for a while, and with my boyfriend’s support I did it. I’m really glad I did because it’s something I really enjoy doing.
2) Of course, we just have to know why did you choose Black Bubblegum as your modeling name?
Just a name I liked really – quite a simple explanation lol! Although someone told me it’s a Dillinger Escape Plan song!
3) What could you tell us about Nottingham for people who have no knowledge of the place?
Well the main icon of Nottingham would be Robin Hood. There’s quite a few good alternative pubs and clubs such as the Pit & Pendulum and Rock City. Good tourist opportunity would be the Galleries of Justice, Nottingham Caves and of course Nottingham Castle!
4) Did you ever any difference in people’s behaviour if you’re having black hair or blond hair?
Not particularly no, I just fancied a change. Although it did help to revamp my portfolio with a slightly different look!
5) What would be your ultimate horror photo shoot? Is there any specific character that you’d like to portray?
Ohhh I don’t know really! There’s lots of horror themes and characters that would be brilliant to use as inspiration but I think if I had to pick one character it would be between the Bride of Frankenstein, or one of the brides of Dracula as they are both unusual characters and would look astounding in photos with the right photographer, make-up and clothing!
6) What is your degree of comfort working with other models? Do you like sharing the spotlight?
I don’t have issues working with other models at all, I have worked with both male and female models and have really enjoyed it. I don't feel there's any sort of 'spotlight' when you do modeling although some people may disagree with me on that lol!
7) Is there a thin line between your modeling personality and your own private life? In other words, do you wear baggy sweatpants on your free time? LOL.
Ah! Good question! To be honest I’m like any other person when I’m not shooting. Some days I can look really good and some days I can look like a total mess, but since I’ve been shooting I have picked up some tricks that make hair and make-up quicker.
8) What is it about wearing latex that many models find so enticing, do you think?
Latex seems to be something that is so popular with models, but anything that you can really explain as to why it’s so sought after! I personally find it appealing because I think it looks so fantastic and some of the designs are brilliantly creative!
9) What would you say is the biggest misconception that the general public still believes in towards the fetish scene (assuming that you’re part of the fetish scene yourself!)?
I don’t really consider myself as part of the fetish scene, although I do like Fetish-esque shoots. I think the biggest is that all fetishes are dirty and wrong, and in the case of photoshoots that fetish means hardcore or pornographic.
10) Any chance of you coming to Montreal one of these days? Bring all the British Sirens! :D
I would love the chance to travel to photo shoots one day! Although it would have to be a very big plane to possibly bring us all over! :D
