1) Soooo… how does someone discover that they are blessed with the gift of flexibility? :P
I was in Gymnastics when I was younger, I stretch regularly and have some old injuries (over extended tendons in my ankles) that make some of my more unusual contortions possible.
2) Did your physical skills make you quite a popular item as a teenager… or just the opposite?
I am going to let you in on a little secret shhhhh, I am a big nerd and did not get a lot of attention, but I did and do have a large week spot for men that are nerdy, geeky, or odd lol.
3) How did you meet your partner in crime (and in many other things) Ryan Stock?
We met at the Edmonton Fringe festival. I was dressed like a fairy doing balloon animals, he . . . he was a magic geek and Odd.
4) How would you describe your TV show Guinea Pig to somebody who has never heard about it?
Guinea Pig is all about testing the limits of human endurance, instead of talking about the limits we put our bodies on the line actually testing the perceived limits, attempting to meet or exceed them. We get paid to beat the crap out of ourselves in a scientific manner.
5) What are your most cherished memories of your time with the Jim Rose Circus?
The thing about touring with the Jim Rose Circus is that it's not lacking in the wild experiences, but I would have to say that performing for and meeting Trent Reznor from NIN at the Godsmack/playboy Grammy party.
6) About you bullwhip skills… explain to us how did you discover that you would be good at it?
I had a professional whip artist from Australia training me in the art of whip cracking. It took a lot of practice and still takes a lot of practice to make sure that my aim is on (don't want to hit Ryan in the face lol).
7) What do you appreciate the most when posing for fetish-themed photos?
Posing for fetish-themed photos make me feel sexy, and unlike my TV show gig, I am allowed to be sexy and show off my wild side.
8) Did you suffer tremendous and/or horrible injuries during your career?
Surprisingly no, we research and practice all angles of a stunt before we perform them, so we can perform some of the most dangerous stunts seen, but in a relatively safe manner.
9) Is there something that you haven’t done or experiment yet (with or without Ryan) that you consider like a dream project?
I would love to be involved with some horror movies, ideally I would love to direct one but acting in one or doing some costume design would be a good start.
10) OK we must sneak an incredibly dumb question, after all… are you actually afraid of something? :D
I actually have a full blown phobia: I am petrified of heights. I am currently trying to overcome this by taking arial silk lessons.
11) And why not a fanboy question: is there any popular super-heroine that you would like to portray in a photo shoot or in a video?
lol I am a NERD and this question makes me a bit giddy!!!! I would love to do a series of photo shoots on super-heroines and have a lot of them I would like to do, so here is a few not in an order mind you.
-Rogue (X-men Blue team) absorbs the powers of others, can fly and has super strength how cool is that!!
-Silver Sable (Bounty hunter from the amazing spiderman) sooooo Hot!!
-Polaris (X-factor) she possesses a power like Magneto's, you know manipulating magnetic energy and
I think that this super-heroine fits me because I have an implanted magnet in my finger so I poses this power too but on a much smaller scale lol
-Silver Fox (Wolverine's long lost love) Alberta girl like me!!
Ok I'll stop with the geeking out now but I do have a long list of of heroes and villains I would love to depict in photos and videos . . . Ok one more but a villain this time.
-Typhoid Mary (Daredevil) Psychotic seductress bent on the domination of any man she encounters hehe.
12) Any chance of welcoming you guys soon in Montreal? You came before, didn’t you?
We would love to do a stage show in Montreal, we have filmed there before but have not had the opportunity to perform live there yet.
